FIELD NOTES [In development]
Field Notes is an immersive, participatory and site-specific audio walking performance. The work explores a contested site and attempts to articulate our complicated relationship to unceded Indigenous lands via four lenses: deep time, colonialism, climate change, and speculative climate fictions. Field Notes takes the form of four interrelated monologues which audiences listen to whilst walking, resting, listening and reading a simple field guide. By offering a meditation on the Western Imaginary (history, art, science, politics, philosophy) Field Notes explores the lived reality of the colonial project through place, sound, and story from Settler perspectives.
