Cult 2017
Katerina Kokkinos-Kennedy and Renae Shadler collaborated to create a performance installation that uses a film script as the starting point for a participatory live art work. The scene that is shared between the performer and the audience encourages each participant to explore their personal stories and memories through a filmic lens. As each audience member ‘takes to the stage’ to perform the scene – the audience witnesses their transformation into an actor. CULT asks – what do actors do, what do audiences do? And how does a member of the audience become an actor before our very eyes?
